Bio

I have loved theatre and film since I was a child.  One of the first films that I remember loving was The Wizard of Oz.  I spent an entire day making my own pair of ruby slippers and then trailed red sequins through the house as I pranced around, clicking my heels. My parents knew from a young age that I longed for a life on the stage or in front of the camera.

I decided in my senior year of high school that I really want to pursue a career in the performing arts. I went on to study vocal performance and theatre at Michigan State University. I completed the Theatre in London program in London, England in the summer of 2005 and graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in theatre in 2007.

Following graduation I moved to the metro Detroit area and performed in several productions across the state. I also made appearances in films, such as WHIP IT, directed by Drew Barrymore.

Some of my favorite roles include: Sandy in GREASE, Shelby in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Denise in THE PROBLEM CHILD, and Celia in MUGSY SENT ME.

I worked with The Encore Musical Theatre Company in Dexter, MI. At Encore I worked with Broadway veterans and assistant directed THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE with director & Broadway actor, Dan Cooney.

I continue to pursue acting and singing, traveling as far as Chicago, IL and Toronto, Canada to attend auditions.

I performed with Northville-based band, Soniq Cell, as a singer for 4 years. I love spending time with friends and family and I believe that since you only have one chance at life, you should make the most of it and never give up on your dreams! As my mom always said, "Keep Calm and Carry On".
